About the speaker:
Stan Rapp is a marketing icon who has twice served as Chairman/CEO of global advertising agencies with combined 2008 annual revenues that added up to over a billion dollars. As co-founder of Rapp Collins (rebranded as RAPP), he spent 23 years at the helm of what grew to become one of the top five advertising agencies in Amercia. While he was CEO of McCann Relationship Marketing (MRM) and served on the Board of McCann Erickson WorldGroup for six years, MRM revenue increased ten-fold. His current endeavor is Chairman of the new Engauge enterprise that is building a next-generation Total Engagement Agency.
When MaxiMarketing, co-authored with Tom Collins, was published in 1986, David Ogilvy said: “Everyone in advertising must read this book.” Ogilvy’s comment started the authors on the way to bestseller stardom. Over 250,000 copies of MaxiMarketing were sold worldwide in more than a dozen languages. Five books followed, each with fresh insight into the turnaround from mass marketing to the one-to-one concept first proclaimed in MaxiMarketing. His seventh book, Reinventing Interactive and Direct Marketing, edited for McGraw-Hill was published in association with the Direct Marketing Association in October 2009.

Rapp is a globally acclaimed marketing thought leader. He was elected to the Hall of Fame of the U.S. Direct Marketing Association and was the first American admitted to the Freedom of the City of London as a Freeman of the British “Worshipful Company of Marketors.” He is the 2005 winner of the prestigious DMEF Vision Award given only twice in this decade. Advertising Age magazine, with the Advertising Club of New York, named him as one of the 101 “stars” that shaped the history of advertising in the twentieth century.
